Baby List

Baby and I are feeling good although I'm becoming impatient wanting to know more about the baby that I'm carrying.

Will he have mi esposo's hazel eyes and hopefully his freckles, the ones he claims are gone and haven't graced his handsome face since his early teens? Will he have my straight hair or mi esposo's wavy hair?  What will our baby's voice sound like? Will he be chubby?  Could he have a dimple in his chin?  So many questions that can't be answered are a lovely frustration, lovely because in a couple of months he'll be here.

In the meantime I've been talking to our baby getting him used to my voice in English and Spanish although most of the Spanish he has been hearing has been me scolding the cats for jumping on the table or playing with things they aren't supposed to like rubber bands. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if his first words were "deja eso" English translation = leave it alone or knock it off.

I'm trying to keep busy so I won't annoy mi esposo and family and created a list of things to do before baby arrives.

First up is to pick a song to sing to our baby.  I read somewhere that infants can recognize a song that was sang to them by their mother while in the womb which they will find comfort in times of confusion to helps them to recognize their mother.  Now what song should I pick?  I can't make up my mind.  Does anyone know of a song to help soothe a crying infant?  Any suggestions?
