It has been forever

since my last post, but I've been busy doing so many things. We have had an emergency in the family, hubby's dad is in the hospital, he was admitted right before the new year. At first it was a bit of touch and go moments, one code blue that I don't think I'll ever forget and now hubby's dad is doing so well that even the doctors are surprised at his progress. Hopefully he will be home soon and then I'll bully him into coming over again for dinner at our house. Keep him in your prayers please for a speedy return home and support for his new lease on life.

Well I did finish a lot of my handmade gifts. I actually forgot to take some of the pictures but I did manage to remember to take these....

Here is my mother-in-law's grocery tote and I made her a matching coin purse. I made one similar to this as well for my sweet neighbor and both lovey ladies loved their gifts.

Here is my sister-in-law's grocery tote. She is always telling me how much she loves handmade things and Native American items so I tried to combine the two for her. Its definitely not authentic Native American but the colors were rich and the design was something she enjoyed.

I made this for my other sister-in-law who recently had a little boy. I thought it would be good for her to take along diapers and wipes.

And this bag found a home with hubby's oldest sister. She was sweet and wrote me a thank you note letting me know she would use it. I hope she enjoys it.

I made a couple more bags but I forgot to take pictures of the finished product so I'll have to have the recipients take pictures of their handmade crafts with their gifts and I'll try to post then soon. Speaking of recipients, here is a picture of my niece who loved her cosmetic bag.

And finally here is a picture of my newest nephew. Doesn't he look like a little old man!
So cute.
Oh I almost forgot, Happy New Year, better late than never.
I'll post again soon with a new header to boot as well.
